Spriggs & Hollingsworth interviews on-campus. We also welcome applications from law students at other schools and regularly hire from schools at which we do not interview. In 2008, we will be interviewing students on-campus at Georgetown University, George Washington University, Duke University, Harvard University, University of Virginia, and William and Mary. Our summer associate class for 2007 had students from the University of Virginia, George Washington University, Georgetown University, and William and Mary.

We hire first-year, second-year students and pre-clerkship third-year students for our summer program.

Our summer associate program is relatively small. We try to satisfy our new-associate hiring needs from the summer associate program.

We do extend offers of permanent employment to second-year students who have proven themselves. Those first-year summer associates whose work and accomplishments meet our criteria are invited to return to the firm for the summer following their second year of law school.
